Update: Okay, finally I’ve got something that I can show y’all!
P.S.
This boudoir photoshoot was done at the Paramount Hotel and it’s supposedly haunted. Eeks!!!

OMG, I cannot believe I’m admitting this …
Yes, it’s true … I’m back on MySpace. Eeks!!! Oh, the horror! You see, I joined MySpace back in 2003 after leaving Asian Avenue (haha!) and that was when it was still a pretty new community website. Then everyone and their mothers hopped on board. I found so many old friends that I had not seen in years. It was fun. But, after awhile it became like any other community website, boring. And, it took up so much of my time. Nowadays, I rarely have time for my own family let alone time to surf the web. So, I (formerly “/missbunn”) left MySpace in summer of 2007.
When I’m online, I’m actually reading other photographers’ blogs — yes, I do read what they write! So, when I discovered that one of the many [and very successful] photographers I follow has a MySpace page I checked it out. Then I found all these other photographers that I admire on MySpace, too. Whoa! Where have I been all this time?! And, why would they bother with MySpace? They don’t have time. Ah, I get it: NETWORKING. *ding, ding, ding*
So, I’m back … I’m not sure for how long, but we’ll see! No, my page is not “pimped out” yet, but I’m sure I’ll get to doing something with it before the year is over. Remember, I stalk my own blog more than anyone I know! haha!!!
I also have FaceBook, too. Got FaceBook? HOLLA!!!

My first boy newborn, ever! Yay!!!
I just love it when I get to photograph newborns — practically right out of the hospital! This little guy just got home the day before I stopped by to snap some shots of him. I was so glad that he slept most of the time because I wanted him sleepy and curly in order to get some creative shots. Of course, mom and dad weren’t too crazy about some of my “creative” ideas (haha!) so we negotiated. The first shot is what mom and dad really wanted me to get. After his meal, this is how Satoshi looks … completely and utterly satiated. A train wreck couldn’t even wake him up. TOO CUTE!!!

You have to make me smile … I do? Is that in the contract? Okay, here goes nothing:
MsB: “So, you want to go shoot by some cool graffiti?”
Ricky: “No.”
MsB: “So, you want to go shoot by the railroad tracks?”
Ricky: “No.”
MsB: “So, you got a girlfriend?”
Ricky: “No!”
MsB: “Hm, you must have a crush on someone?!”
Ricky: “Well, Kim Kardashian is hot.”
MsB: “Ooh, yeah. I like her, too! She’s hella HAWT!!!”
SCORE!!! It’s always good to have something in common with my clients. hehe! But, Ricky and I also share a thing for basketball. I was on the varsity basketball [and volleyball] team in high school — way back in the day! HOLLA!!!
P.S.
I about died on this photoshoot. It happened to be the hottest day of the summer at the hottest time of the day! And, what I found in my all-black SUV at the end of the session: my water bottle — with warm water and no ice?! OMG!!!

{Yo, I don’t do “gangsta”- or “import car”-shots, a’ight? haha!}

My first 15-hour wedding to date…
…and probably my last! haha! It’s not easy lugging around a 20-pound camera bag for hours and hours. My eyes start to cross and that’s not good considering it’s my job to stay “focused.” I know, I know … bad joke. Bleh! Anyway, the day started at 8:00 AM sharp — err, we all started at 8:00 while Liza strolled in around 9:00-ish! haha! It was a traditional Chinese tea ceremony at the bride’s parents’ home. Then it was off to a fun parade at the groom’s brother’s home for a traditional Laotian ceremony. (There was a ton of drinking at both ceremonies! Wee!!!)
Finally, the American ceremony was held at the Marriott-Portland Downtown followed by a 10-course dinner reception for over 550 guests. Yeah, that’s right, five hundred and fifty guests!!! To see more vendor details et al, visit their wedding planner’s site: www.jenuinecreations.info.
P.S.
Who invited Hennessy and his entire gang???

{Okay, I have to end it here. Why? Because I got to go finish editing the rest of their 300 images. Eeks!!!}
