Shots w/Adrionna

These are for you, Robin …

I was waiting for my first photoshoot of the day at a local Starbucks (geez, where else would I be???) when I heard someone call out my name. I turned around to see two beautiful faces smiling at me, one of them belonging to young and vibrant Adrionna. She has such a magnetic smile that I couldn’t help but smile, too — just because.

During her shoot, I sometimes asked her to look at the camera or look away and focus on something, like her mom. This is how she looks when she looks at her mom …

Shots w/Ricky

Saturday, August 16th, 2008

You have to make me smile … I do? Is that in the contract? Okay, here goes nothing:

MsB: “So, you want to go shoot by some cool graffiti?”
Ricky: “No.”
MsB: “So, you want to go shoot by the railroad tracks?”
Ricky: “No.”
MsB: “So, you got a girlfriend?”
Ricky: “No!”
MsB: “Hm, you must have a crush on someone?!”
Ricky: “Well, Kim Kardashian is hot.”
MsB: “Ooh, yeah. I like her, too! She’s hella HAWT!!!”

SCORE!!! It’s always good to have something in common with my clients. hehe! But, Ricky and I also share a thing for basketball. I was on the varsity basketball [and volleyball] team in high school — way back in the day! HOLLA!!!

P.S.
I about died on this photoshoot. It happened to be the hottest day of the summer at the hottest time of the day! And, what I found in my all-black SUV at the end of the session: my water bottle — with warm water and no ice?! OMG!!!

{Yo, I don’t do “gangsta”- or “import car”-shots, a’ight? haha!}

Meet my 2009 HS Senior Rep

I love it when my clients come with their own style, abandoning traditions. SheQouya likes the punk-rock look and that’s what MySa, of MUA by MySa, done up for her. MySa and I could not help but to admire SheQouya’s very clean and clear complexion and long and thick eyelashes! NO FAIR!!! The rest of us are stuck with fake eyelashes! BTW, yes, when you are a HS Senior Rep for MsB Photography you get your very own make-up artist on the set. So, for all you soon-to-be 2010 seniors, check my site often for your shot to be a rep!

Note: If referred to me by SheQouya it can save you some money. (Wow, I sound like a Geico commercial!)

P.S.
SheQouya is definitely not Asian [inside joke]. haha!

{This last pair was shot using two different camera bodies, guess which. Hint: It’s definitely not Kodak. haha!}

Shots w/Amanda

Sunday, January 13th, 2008

Amanda is my senior portrait rep for 2008; but, soon she will be graduating HS this summer and we will be parting ways as she then goes off to college. *sniff, sniff, sniff* Therefore, I am currently looking/accepting applications for a 2009 Senior Rep (you must be graduating with the Class of 2009). Guy or Girl … So, don’t be shy to apply!

WHAT DOES A REP DO?
My rep spreads the word about MsB Photography then will receive a free session and other really cool incentives (based on the number of referrals). Awesome, right?!!

These are just a few candid shots from my final session with Amanda. I’ll be posting more soon. BTW, did I mention exactly how COLD it was today??? “Burr! It’s cold in here … It must be Amanda in the atmosphere. I said, burr!” *spirit fingers* haha! [inside joke]

Shots w/Dolly

Saturday, November 24th, 2007

Senior Portrait season is almost over … just one more to go for me! Phew!!! And, thank goodness that other deadline will be in January 2008, unlike Dolly’s 12/01/07 deadline — yeah, that’s NEXT WEEK?! Um … HELP ME!!!

So, we had to shoot Dolly’s session pretty quickly because (1.) her deadline left me less than one week to process, and (2.) it was so frickin’ cold outside that we didn’t feel like hanging around to get frost bitten! Eeks! Fortunately, it was dried and not raining on us. That’s one less thing to worry about. BTW, did y’all notice her red flip flops? Yeah, you know her toes were cold! haha.
