So, I have a little confession …
Um, there was never really a “judge” for this contest, not even me. Why? My reason is that it’d just be unfair of me — or anyone else for that matter — to judge another person’s life. If two people truly care about each other and treat one another in the way that we’d want to be treated, then who am I to say anything? We all have our own story, each is very special in his or her own way. Shoot, I met my husband at some heavily smoke-infested club. haha! Truth be told, I just wanted to get to know my readers a little better. So, there you have it. You stalk me — blog stalkers! — so this is what you get! haha.
How did I pick the contest winner then? Well, what’s the game that we all know how to play? Lotto! Or, is it “lottery”? Oh yes, I put all 17 entries into a bowl and pulled out just one winner. (I couldn’t think of a better way to do this.)
So, without further ado, here is the 2008 Romance Me Contest winner(s)!
Cecilia and Daniel. They were not too fond of each other when they first met, but now you can’t pry them apart. She calls him a snake charmer and he calls her a penguin? haha! Whatever it is, they are just too cute. At first, they played me like a paparazzi and didn’t want their pictures taken, but as soon as they got used to me they went stir-crazy! Check out that dirty and wet couch we found on the side of the road. Um, wet or not we had to use it! BTW, I love it when my clients thinks that I’m “changing lens” or “testing the light” because that’s when they are their most natural. And, I’m always prepared for those moments, like in the first shot; Daniel has these dimples that show up out of nowhere so I’m glad they decided to make their appearance for me there! Do it again, please!
